| Frequently-asked questions > Post-Gazette premiums |
| Q. What are they? |
A. Since 1998, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has been quietly issuing some of the area's sharpest and rarest memorabilia. These premiums -- ranging in size from a magazine cover to an album cover -- reflect Pittsburgh's greatest athletes.
|
| Q. How were they distributed? |
A. Randomly. The P-G inserted these in newspapers sold at PNC Park, Three Rivers Stadium, Mellon Arena, and PirateFest. They were unannounced, unscheduled promotional items.
|
| Q. What makes them so special? |
A. You had to be there: premiums were only available at the events for which they issued. They are printed on high-quality stock, were extremely limited in their press runs, and are all suitable for framing. Some of them are downright gorgeous, rivaling anything you'll find on the retail market.
|
| Q. How do you ship them? |
A. We ship all premiums in hard plastic "toploaders" inside padded envelopes. We send them first-class U.S. Mail.
